highs in the 60's

It's always super exciting when we have a stretch of cool days--so many more wardrobe options and the opportunity for jackets (and, let's be real here--sleeves!).    I love this outfit for its shoes, its patterned belt, its dark wash skinnies, its classic white button-up, and of course for its chic trench.  Well, I guess that's all of it!  No wonder I'm such a fan.

In other news, I've lost a few pounds and already my pants are fitting better and I'm feeling better.

Outfit details:
jeans:  Gap Always Skinny
belt:  J. Crew
shirt:  Everlane
trench:  Forever 21
shoes:  Gentle Souls via Garnet Hill
thin bracelets:  Moulton (and rings, not pictured)

  1. I love it! It is just my style. I live in So. Cal too and am so tired of my short sleeve shirts! I was so excited that I got to wear a cardigan today! Congrats on your weight loss--you look great! I am just 2 weeks into WW online and it is working really well.

    1. Hi Kristen! We can commiserate about So Cal weather and how it limits our wardrobe options! I've done WW so many times (not online, but in person) and it really does work. This time I'm just crunching numbers and counting calories. I have 7 ish) more pounds to go. Good luck on WW?

  2. Great trench! I would never have guessed it was F21. I like the whole outfit. I love Gap Always Skinny's and live in them for causal wear. I, too, have been trying to lose the proverbial few pounds and am slowly getting there. Joyce

    1. Hi Joyce--I love Always Skinnies and hope they never stop making them. Also, I'm right with you on the F21 jacket--I usually don't even go in that store, but I was shopping with my daughter and I just fell in love with this trench. And it's perfect for this climate--since I won't get to wear it very often there's no need for a high-end trench.

  3. Love this look! I just ordered Gap's resolution true skinny jeans - I hope they work. I think they look similar to these.

Good for you on WW - I've been trying hard to give up carbs and exercise more. I've had good luck with WW in the past - I might need to consider that, it's so nice to be held accountable.
