sunday beach day

sunday sunday sunday sunday

How was your weekend? Mine was great--it was such a relief to spend more time at home this weekend and not be so busy for once.  Unfortunately, I only caputured one of my outfits this weekend.  This is my Sunday outfit--we went to the beach (thus the hat) and otherwise were around the house (sans hat, of course!).

I have a lot of curiosity about how to look chic + comfortable on the weekends.  I want to look effortless and yet with a certain something.  That's one of the things I want to explore on the blog.  I admire naturally stylish women so much.

Happy new week, everyone!

Outfit details:
dress:  Gap
hat:  Free People
necklace:  Anthro
flats:  Clark's

    1. Mrs. C--I agree! I hate to ruin any shoes in the sand, so I did change to flip-flops.

Loved your post today about Angelina. Such a good reminder to take better care of our health.

  2. So cute! I love the hat and flats. And the dress is casual yet very flattering.
I had a nice weekend too. I got to go to the movies alone with my husband (which we haven't done in so long!) We saw the new Star Trek which was really good.

    1. Thanks, Denise. It really is comfortable (and I'm hoping versatile, too--layered with black leggings, with a cardi, with a scarf, etc). Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Hello! Everyone here is loving your casual look, as do I. Sometimes simplicity is the best, and you took complete simplicity up just a good notch to a pretty cool look. Sweet.
I've never gotten the hang of this myself, and that's one of the concepts I need to work on.
